Barry and his team have recently completed a job for me repointing the rear of a old Victorian 3 bed terrace, restoring the brickwork and repairing the plinth and window cills. I would not hesitate to recommend them.The quality of the work is excellent and the job was completed fast and without hassle - in spite of a couple of complications arising. They went the extra mile (eg painting the repaired cills, which was one of the unexpected parts and helping reseal the window frames while the scaffold was up). Beyond this, the team were friendly and a pleasure to work with, which made everything very easy.All in all, 10 out of 10.

Barry and his team were excellent from start to finish. We absolutely love the finished property and can’t recommend Barry and his team highly enough.From the day Barry visited our property to provide a quote, it was clear he is vastly experienced in his trade, loves what he does and is a great communicator. He walked us through step by step exactly what needed to be done and was thoroughly reassuring in his level of knowledge - this level of professionalism continued throughout the job.We had paint removed from the front and rear of our property and fully repointed (tuck pointing on the front and traditional pointing on the rear) - we absolutely love the finish and couldn’t be happier with the whole process. Barry is also always on hand to answer any questions (I’m sure I annoyed him on many occasions when he was relaxing in the evening...) he is always quick to reply and address any concerns - again, extremely professional and always has things under control.The whole team were a pleasure to have in and around our house - all polite and respectful, especially given working from home and Covid-19 etc.To put it simply, we would highly recommend Barry and his team.Thanks again Barry, it was a pleasure.Adam & Salma

Barry’s excellent team recently repointed the front of our Edwardian house. The existing pointing was cracked and crumbling and now it’s all solid and uniform. Not only is this better for weatherproofing, it also looks really smart. We were really pleased with the outcome and would definitely recommend Barry’s hardworking team.

Aspire have done an excellent quality restoration job on our house - twice! We first hired them three years ago to remove paint and restore the brick and the results still look excellent. We have a red brick Victorian terrace that someone had decided to paint purple then cream (?!) at some point. As a result, the paint was flaking, bricks were cracked and it was letting in damp. It's now transformed: Aspire got rid of all the paint, replaced the rubbish pointing with lime pointing, mended bricks and replaced them where needed.We've just had Aspire back this month to renovate the brick at the back of the house and repoint. We had massive damp problems in the upstairs bedroom, and a couple of weeks since they took out the old cement pointing (which essentially was just falling out) and replaced it with lime-based, the brick has dried out and so have our internal walls! And it looks ace. (See before and after pic).I'd definitely recommend Aspire, they really know what they're doing and we'll definitely get them back again when we get round to doing the sides of the house. (

I recently undertook a large renovation of an old edwardian terraced house my wife and I moved into two years ago. One of the major points we wished to tackle was the frontage. The original bay had collapsed in the 70s due to subsidence and all the original stone work was lost. In addition to this the front of the house was pebbledashed and generally in poor condition. Having spoken to various restoration companies none of them provided a resolution to the result we were looking for and in many cases said it could not be done and in the process providing alternatives that if we decided to go for would not of have obtained the desired finish we were looking for.However, none of this was an issue when I had Aspire restorations come out to take a look, they instantly subscribed to our vision and provided solutions to all major hurdles. The transformation was phenomenal and the house that was once the ugly duckling puts the rest to shame. The neighbours forever comment and remark on the difference.We also opted for tuck pointing which is more expensive than traditional pointing but the effort involved and finish is really worth the extra cost. The guys on site were courteous, and cleaned up after themselves everyday which was a weight off our mind due to the nature of this work and the dust it caused.Lastly, as mentioned above I had numerous quotes from various well known companies and all of which were crazy quotes. This was not the case with Aspire and the price quoted was very reasonable for the work involved.I've attached some before and after photos of the frontage so you can see the difference but would wholeheartedly recommend these guys, you wont regret it!
